The son of an Irish hairdresser from County Antrim N Ireland, Leon embarked on his career with the encouragement of his mother. In 1987, he left the peaceful tranquility of the Irish countryside to join the ranks of Toni & Guy in London. He traveled for over a decade as the Education Artistic Director for the company, working on shows all over the world. After a brief settlement in Sydney, Leon used his deep fashion industry contacts to jumpstart his next chapter in New York City, meeting and assisting Guido and Eugene Souleiman for many years in Paris and Milan before striking out on his own. It is during this time when he established himself as one of the industry’s most in-demand session stylists, working closely wit Cutler/Reken while cultivating his own respect and admiration from top-tier designers, leading shows and productions for Cynthia Rowley, John Richmond, Nanette Lenore, Gabrielle Colangelo, Luisa Beccaria, Carlos Miele, Vivenne Tam and more. His collaborations with prestigious fashion photographers have been featured in the illustrious pages of iconic industry publications, including Vogue (American, German, British, Australian and Japanese); Elle (English, Italian and American); Harpers Bazaar; Marie Claire; I.D., POP, Another Magazine, Glamour, Visionaire, and V Magazine.
